I have assembled a new chassis based on a 1964 Type 1 chassis. The chassis has new floor pan sections, and has been fully seam welded to improve rigidity. The pan was then sand blasted, primed and painted with two coats of two pack high gloss black.

With the body off the pan, here it is about to be re-assembled as a complete rolling chassis again.

The front suspension has been modified further in this picture. I have had the sway bar mounts welded to the beam, and the spindles are CB Performance 2.5" dropped units.
