Phase 4 of the restoration - New Engine Other porsche cooling system I have seen duct hot air from the oil cooler over the 3+4 cylendars. This is too much like the factory VW pre-dog house style cooling system, so I came up with the idea of a Porsche style shroud that exhausts oil heated air through the dog house hole in the firewall tin-ware. Here is the shroud prior to the finishing coat. The shroud has been wet sanded with 1200 grit paper as I am hoping for a glass-like finish.
